BIG crowds are expected at Stubbington Fayre and Donkey Derby on Monday.

The event has been drawing crowds for more than 40 years, with the derby providing the main focus for the day’s activities.

Its six races are named after local areas from the Hill Head Hurdles to the Titchfield Trot, with six runners ridden by local children act as a framework for the rest of the programme.

Other events at Stubbington Recreation ground from 11.20am include the Stubbington Springboard Gymnastics, Locks Heath Silhouette Majorettes and the Big Noise Samba Band.
