MORE than 600 people turned out to see plans for a new housing development.

Developer Taylor Wimpey held the exhibition at Clanfield Memorial Hall regarding a proposal for 220 homes at White Dirt Farm.

Residents previously told The News they had concerns about lack of infrastructure and loss of countryside if it went ahead.

Staff at Taylor Wimpey are now analysing feedback forms.

Lynn McIver, strategic projects manager, says: ‘We had some very useful discussions with local residents and key stakeholders about what we are trying to achieve with our proposed development, and I would like to thank everyone who came along to participate in our consultation.’

The deadline for comments is tomorrow.
