POLICE have been called to an incident on the bus lane between Fareham and Gosport.

Emergency services are now on scene (8.55pm).

It is thought someone has been hit by an Eclipse bus, although this has not yet been confirmed by police.

The incident happened close to Bedenham Primary School, at the back of houses along Perth Road.

The pedestrian access to Henry Cort Way - from Harris Road – has been taped off by officers.

Several police cars have been parked around the bus as investigators examine the scene.

The Bus Rapid Transit route opened in April 2013 and is a traffic-free busway carrying buses between Fareham and Gosport.
