TWO incredible women attended a glitzy ceremony after being nominated for a top award.

Pam Marshall, from Horndean, was nominated for the Daily Mail Inspirational Women of the Year alongside Waterlooville’s Clare Dimmer.

Pam set up Hannah’s Holiday Home in memory of her daughter, Hannah, who died aged 10 in 2004 of Hodgkin’s disease.

Thanks to Pam, families going through similar situations can take some rest and relaxation at two beautiful holiday homes in Hayling Island and the New Forest away from the stresses and strains of hospital appointments.

Breast cancer survivor Clare is a founder of Breast Cancer UK, the only UK-wide charity dedicated to preventing breast cancer by reducing exposure to cancer causing chemicals in every day items.

Although the women did not win the overall award they made the shortlist for Monday’s ceremony.
