THEY’RE used to pushing people to their physical limits, but the shoe was on the other foot for a group of British Military Fitness instructors this Remembrance Day.

Participants in the training course which takes place on Southsea Common had the chance to order their trainers to do exercises in the Train the Trainer event.

The instructors and trainees also raised money for the Royal British Legion.

British Military Fitness managing director Harry Sowerby said: ‘As all of our instructors are either former or serving military personnel, Remembrance Day is an event which has a very special place in all of our hearts.

‘Following our successful “train the trainer” campaign last year, we thought it only appropriate that we up the ante this year, and let our members dole out the burpees to their instructors for once.

‘It’s great to be able to raise money for such a worthy cause.

‘I want to thank all the instructors and members for helping us do so.’
