Isle of Wight Festival sells out

TICKETS to this year's Isle of Wight Festival 2011 have now sold out, organisers have announced.

Taking place between June 10 and 12, the line-up hosts headline performances from some of the world's hottest acts including Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and, closing the Sunday night, Kasabian.

After only a few weeks of being on sale, fans have snapped up all tickets to the eagerly-awaited summer festival at Seaclose Park which is celebrating its 10th year in its modern format.

Festival promoter John Giddings said: 'It's fantastic to sell out five months in advance. The 10th anniversary is going to be a vintage year.'

Joining the headliners will be appearances from more top acts, including newly-reformed Pulp, The Script, Manic Street Preachers, Pixie Lott, Tom Jones, Public Image Ltd, Beady Eye, Boy George, Plan B and many more.

The Isle of Wight is traditionally the first major music event of the summer. Go to isleofwightfestival.com for more information.
