SUNSHINE brought out the crowds for the biggest Emsworth Show ever.

Thousands of people turned up to yesterday’s event at the Jubilee Recreation Ground, off Horndean Road, to enjoy the huge range of traditional stalls and attractions.

Crowds could enjoy everything from pony rides, falconry and dog shows, to arts and crafts, face painting and music from a local steel band.

The Mayor of Havant Cllr Ken Smith opened the festivities and said he couldn’t believe how busy it had been.

‘I could barely move at times,’ he said. ‘I’ve been going regularly for many years and this was by far the biggest and best ever.

‘There was so much to see and do it was almost overwhelming.’
