LETTER OF THE DAY: The fly-tipping blight

THREE generations of the same family used ladders, buckets, and of course snow, to create this tall feat.

Grandad Peter Rutherford, 60, his son Andrew Pursglove, 42, and 11-year-old Jack Pursglove worked for two days to build an 11ft snowman.

The frozen statue, in Ferndale, Waterlooville, was built as part of a family challenge.

Grandma Susan, 62, said: ‘It’s magnificent. People turn their cars around to take a second look.’
