A WEEK-long festival of art and music begins this weekend.

Events at the Blendworth Festival, in Blendworth, near Horndean, will be centred around Holy Trinity Church and the Church Centre.

It begins on Saturday with traditional jazz from 7.30pm. There will be songs of praise at 6pm on Sunday.

Achoired Taste will sing show songs on June 13 while Spinnaker Chorus Ladies Barbershop will appear on June 15.

The South Downs College Band will replace the Emsworth Band which was due to play at the church on June 16.

The following evening Showstoppers Dance will perform followed by a drama piece.

The church fete is on June 18 with Proms in the Park in the evening.

There will be an art exhibition in the church from June 15 to 19.
