City navy ship joins efforts to find missing Argentine sub

AMERICAN punk rockers Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will play next year's Isle of Wight Festival.

The band, famous for their hit I Love Rock 'n Roll, will headline the Friday night at the Big Top.

As reported in later editions of The News yesterday, Boy George will also perform in the Big Top on Thursday campers' night.

And it's also been revealed that joining Pulp and Foo Fighters on the main stage on Saturday will be Iggy and the Stooges, Seasick Steve, Hurts, Stornoway and Lissie.

The Kings of Leon will headline the Friday night, while Kasabian are the main headliners on Sunday, with Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye also performing.

The festival takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, between June 10 and 12
