A JOB fair is to be held to offer a helping hand to anyone looking for work.

The Gosport Business and Employment Fair is a chance for those in the area to discover job opportunities with employers looking to recruit staff at all levels of ability.

There will also be advice on offer to those hoping to establish themselves as a small business, or become self-employed.

Hints and tips will be available to anyone already running a business on how to expand and run more efficiently.

Training and work experience opportunities in the Gosport area will be advertised at the event and there will be information on apprenticeships via the National Apprenticeship Service.

Employers with current vacancies will be at the fair from a wide range of industries including engineering, construction, health, retail, and leisure.

Visitors will be offered held and advice on securing work.

It starts at 2pm to 8pm on January 26 in Thorngate Hall, Bury Road, Gosport.
