PLENTY of jungle japes are expected at the ever-popular annual Easter Egg Hunt in Holly Hill Woodland Park.

The themed event takes place at the park off Barnes Lane in Sarisbury Green on Saturday, March 23.

There will be a host of costumed characters and decorations bringing the woods alive.

Councillor Connie Hockley, in charge of leisure and community matters for Fareham, said: ‘It’s always lots of fun and is enjoyed by hundreds of adults and children every year.

‘They will have the chance to play games, collect clues and find treasure as they work their way around the beautiful park.’

The first entry time is at midday with starting times every half hour until 4pm. Tickets cost £5.50 per child and adults go free with children.

There are 450 tickets available which often sell out quickly. Tickets can be booked through Fareham Tourist Information Centre on 01329 221342, 9.30am-5pm, Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
