BROWSERS at a shopping centre were given a scare when confronted by a 16ft dinosaur.

Dana the dinosaur was lurking around the Cascades Shopping Centre to provide some lunchtime frights and promote a forthcoming show to the Kings Theatre - Jurassic Adventure.

The giant model was also taken to Devonshire Infant School.

Sandra Smith from the Kings Theatre Portsmouth said: ‘Cascades have had several visits from characters from the theatre over the years, but a creature as large and scary as this one is a new and exciting one for us all!’

The brand new production is full of fun, thrills and screams and a cast that includes a baby Dinosaur and T. REX mother who wants her egg back. The show is on March 27 which is aimed at the whole family.
