Mum Monique said: ‘Katelyn decided that she wanted her hair cut so myself and her dad Paul suggested that she donate it we showed her the Little Princess Trust website and she agreed it would be a nice thing to do.

‘Her dad Paul and I are so proud of her for deciding to do this, as is the rest of her family.

‘She is very happy that she has been able to help poorly children who have to have wigs made and children that are unwell in the hospital.’
