STARS from this year’s Kings Theatre panto will set the pace at a children’s sponsored walk in aid of good causes.

Actors and actresses from the theatre’s Cinderella show will join young walkers for The Rowans Hospice Moonlit Memories Meander, at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, on October 27.

Cinderella’s ugly sisters will entertain kids before the start of the 6pm walk, and there will be music from Portsmouth City Band along with warm-up exercises with Stacey Merritt from Nuffield Health & Fitness. Child entry costs £5.

Amanda Mahoney of The Rowans Hospice, said: ‘Walkers will see areas of the naval base not normally open to the public. It promises to be a memorable evening.’
