Late night opening to let adults explore museum

A MUSEUM will open late to mark the national Museums at Night event.

Search in Clarence Road, in Gosport, will open from 7pm to 9pm on Friday.

The night, called Close Encounters of the Museum Kind will give adults a chance to look at its collections.

Experts from Hampshire’s arts and museums service will also be on hand at the site and the Geology Gallery.

Visitors can get to grips with the science specimens and discover the Victorian and 1950s mock-up rooms.

Book in advance for £2 or turn up on Friday and pay £2.50.
