Gosport drink-driver told to work

A DRINK-DRIVER has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.

Mark Male was more than twice the legal limit when he was caught in Cambridge Road, Gosport.

A breathalyser test revealed he had 90 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Male, 26, of Guildford Road, Kingston, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He was told to do 80 hours of unpaid work and banned from driving for three years.

The magistrates made him pay £85 in court costs.
