VOLUNTEERS from a blood bike charity will be at the Hayling Island 999 day tomorrow.

SERV Wessex, which covers Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, will be raising awareness and funds for the work it does from 10am until 4pm.

There will be stickers for the children, information, merchandise and the opportunity to talk to volunteers and find out more about the service they provide to hospitals across the region.

It is part of the wider free event at Beachlands promoting the work of the emergency services.

There will be demonstrations on CPR at midday and a chance to learn how to carry it out, as well as music from the Blendworth Brass Band.

There will be several other activities throughout the day.
