A TEACHER will give a talk to people in Fareham about her experiences of working in Africa for a year.

As reported in The News, Patricia Gilhooley has recently returned from Ethiopia where she spent a year working with teachers, helping to improve children’s education.

The 57-year-old from Fareham teaches at Locks Heath Junior School.

Now, she is planning to talk about the experience over afternoon tea at the Church of St Philip Howard.

The talk will take place on Sunday, September 16, from 3.30pm.

There is no charge for the event but contributions towards expenses would be accepted.
