Lifeboat is launched after group gets cut off by tide at Pagham

A COASTGUARD rescue team were called after two people and three dogs got cut off by the tide.

The RNLI branch at Selsey were called out at about 11.50am yesterday.

A statement from Selsey Coastguard Rescue Team said they were called out to two people and three dogs being cut off by the sea at Pagham Spit.

It added: ‘Selsey Inshore Lifeboat was launched and spoke with the first informant, who confirmed that all had made their way to safety.’
