ARE you interested in learning – but without the pressure of exams?
The University of the Third Age (U3A) could be for you.
Members of U3A groups around Havant borough are setting up a group based in the centre of the town.
The U3A holds monthly classes and organises speakers to enable people to keep learning, even after they have retired.
Judith Worley teaches Spanish and also takes part in writing groups through the organisation.
She said: ‘It seems there are lots of groups around the area except here in Havant itself where there is a real desire for one. We meet in each others’ homes as much as possible to keep costs down.
‘It costs only £15 to £20 a year to join.’
A meeting is being held at the United Reformed Church Hall, Elm Lane, Havant, on May 10 at 2.30pm. For more information go to u3a.org.uk.
