THIS year’s line-up for the return of the South Coast Proms has been announced.

The Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will take centre stage alongside the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir, Australian saxophonist Amy Dickson and TV actor Rupert Penry-Jones.

The event will finish with a musical firework display. The South Coast Proms takes place at HMS Excellent on Whale Island in Portsmouth over two days.

All proceeds go to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. The South Coast Proms take place on July 5 and July 6.
