BEER-lovers can enjoy a tasty pint of real ale at festival.

Winterfest Beer Festival, at Thorngate Halls, in Bury Road, Gosport, is running until tonight.

Martyn Constable, from Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Campaign for Real Ale, said: ‘It’s just trying to promote small businesses that produce goods, proper real ale products.

‘We’ve got a low-cal bar with 30 beers all brewed within 30 miles of Gosport, all little brewers you can’t get in pubs because they’re tied.

‘It’s just really a celebration of the smaller brewer and brewers’ art.

Tickets are available on the door for today’s session from 6.30pm to 11pm.
