A3M shut in suicide bid

A BUSY road was closed after a man threatened to jump from a bridge.

The A3M northbound was closed at 2.42pm today by police officers because there was a man on Bedhampton Bridge, which crosses over the road, threatening to jump off. He was taken to hospital by ambulance at 3.30pm to be checked over.

The road reopened at the same time.

Patriotic from Pompey ..... I think your comments are crass and just show how stupid people can be when they make assumptions about other people they know nothing of. I hope however it was is getting the help they need and I wish them all the best for their future. As for P from P? Heaven help us if the world thought like him.
