Addict told to get help

A WOMAN was caught behind the wheel while more than three times the drink-drive limit.

Wendy Street, 55, of Trafalgar Square, Gosport, admitted committing the offence in South Street, Gosport, on December 20.

A test revealed her breath contained 125 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres - three times the 35mcg legal limit.

Street was told to take part in a programme for drink impaired drivers and banned from driving for 40 months. She was put under supervision and told to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
