Advisers will help with life after the exams

A service is being launched to help young people decide what to do next after they receive their exam results.

In the Fareham, Gosport and Havant areas personal advisers from Hampshire County Council will be at schools and colleges to offer advice and support.

A-level results will be released this Thursday, with GCSEs on Tuesday next week.

Staff will also be running regular drop-in sessions at the Connexions centre in West Street, Fareham, I-Stop at Mill Lane in Gosport, The Original Place in Leigh Park, The Meeting Place in Elizabeth Road, Waterlooville, Havant Borough Council Civic Offices, and Wecock Young People's Resource Centre in Eagle Avenue, where they will have information on jobs, training opportunities and courses.

Contact local Connexions services for advice as well as times and dates for the drop-in sessions.

Log on to youthtube.hants.gov.uk to find the nearest office or call 0845 6035621.
