TWO teenagers were arrested following a mass brawl on the beach in Old Portsmouth yesterday.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Portsmouth and an 18-year-old man from Havant on suspicion of affray.

The brawl left a 23-year-old Portsmouth man with cuts to his face and bruising.

Police rushed to beach after reports of ‘a large number of teenagers involved in a fight’ on the beach next to the Hot Walls at around 4.20pm.

Hampshire Police said it wanted to reassure residents and visitors to the beach that the brawl was being treated as an isolated incident.
