THE parents of five-year-old Ashya King must wait until tomorrow for their extradition hearing to resume.

Brett and Nagameh King were escorted by Spanish police to Madrid’s High Court for the first stage of their extradition to the UK earlier today.

Scores of media representatives and photographers captured the couple as they made their way into the premises.

Mr and Mrs King were arrested on Saturday when the family was found in Malaga.

As reported earlier today, Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner Simon Hayes has defended police action to find Ashya King, who was taken away by his parents from Southampton General Hospital to seek alternative treatment from a brain tumour.
