Attempted murder suspect held after Waterlooville stabbing

A MAN is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the neck at a Waterlooville home.

The victim was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham following the attack, which happened in Delphi Way at about 7.45pm last night.

Police have said his injuries are not life-threatening.

A 47-year-old man has arrested in connection with the incident remains in police custody.

Det Insp Kerry Loveless is investigating. She said: ‘This is an isolated incident, nearby residents should not be concerned for their safety.

‘We have been speaking to neighbours but would appeal to anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
