Baffins emerged as a key battleground, with the Tories winning the seat off the Lib Dems.

Sitting councillor Micheal Andrewes was ousted by Tory Jim Fleming in a close-run contest.

The campaign was dominated by the issue of the closure of the Copnor fire station, in the neighbouring ward, with each of the two leading parties blaming the other for its demise.
