A body has been recovered from Langstone Harbour.
Hampshire Police have confirmed that the body was discovered this afternoon.
Several emergency vehicles, including the coastguard and ambulance, went to the scene close to the old railway line from Langstone to Hayling.
A police spokesman said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
He added: ‘Police can confirm they are investigating the discovery of a body at mudbanks in the Langstone area.
‘Officers spotted the body in the area shortly before midday today
‘The body has not yet been formally identified.’
