Car and motorcycle in city crash
A CAR and motorcycle collided in North End, Portsmouth, this afternoon.
A Renault Megane and the motorbike crashed on London Road, outside The Tap pub, at 3.30pm.
The motorcyclist, who had been knocked off his bike, was breathing and conscious, police said.
He has been taken to Queen Alexandra hospital with injuries to his left leg.
The northbound carriageway of London Road was closed from the scene of the crash to Kingston Crescent, but the road reopened soon after 4pm.
