AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man died in a freak accident in West Sussex.
A silver Mazda MX8 collided with the wall of a residential care home – The Old Malthouse – in Selsey High Street at about 11am on Saturday.
The driver, who was 55 and lived locally, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car went into the side of the care home, and partly into the dining room. No-one inside the building was hurt. A police spokesman said the force was ‘investigating ths circumstances around this tragic incident.’
