Charity to give free debt advice on course

A debt counselling charity is offering a free three-week course on managing your finances.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is running the course at its recently opened centre at the Fareham Community Church in West Street, Fareham.

It also gives free face-to-face debt counselling to anyone who makes an appointment. This award-winning charity provides a long term approach aiming to empower people and get them out of debt.

The Fareham branch, partnered with the community church, opened last November and already has more than 20 clients on its books.

The charity is providing a three-week CAP money programme to help people manage their finances at Fareham Community Church on Tuesday, March 16, 23 and 30 from 7.15pm to 9.30pm.

Either turn up on the night or contact (01329) 287414.

CAP's vision is to help vulnerable people and those who are struggling due to the effects of unmanageable debt.

Anyone can call free on 0800 3280006 to make a regular appointment or go to capuk.org for more information.
