Same Difference star Sean Smith has been stripped bare to raise awareness of testicular cancer

Sean is one of a handful of celebrities to be photographed naked to promote a campaign by Macmillan Cancer Support.

In some of the shots the only thing protecting Sean's modesty is the word 'embarrassed' emblazoned across his body.

Sean, 24, said he had no gripes about being photographed naked after being asked to take part.

He said: 'It's such an important thing that people of my age need to know about. I jumped at it straight away.

'The photographers were brilliant and made me feel very comfortable.

'The most important thing is getting the awareness out there.

'Even if it just helps one or two people, it will have been worth it.'

Other famous faces to be photographed include former Coronation Street actor Adam Rickett and Big Brother contestant Stuart Pilkington.

According to Macmillan Cancer Care, the charity behind the Checkum campaign, men with a brother or father who has had testicular cancer are slightly more at risk of developing testicular cancer.

Their advice is to visit your doctor immediately if you are concerned.

The campaign, Checkum, aims to bring home the dangers of testicular cancer to young men.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men between the ages of 15 and 45.

The charity says that nearly all men are cured, particularly when it is found and treated early.

Sean and sister Sarah, from Widley, have been hitting the headlines recently with their raunchy new look, a world away from the cute cardigans and bubblegum pop from their time with Simon Cowell's record label, Syco.

They are now under new management and set to release a new single, Shine on Forever, next month followed by an album this autumn.
