REAL Christmas trees are on sale at Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
The Forestry Commission has hundreds of trees at the East Hampshire country park – from Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce to Lodgepole Pine.
They go on sale tomorrow until December 20 and include non-drop needle varieties.
Simon James, beat forester at the Forestry Commission, said: ‘All of our real Christmas trees are sustainably grown in the UK and at least one tree is planted to replace each one that’s harvested.
‘Our trees are of great quality and come in all shapes and sizes, and our expert staff will help select and then wrap the best one for your home. We can’t promise you a white Christmas this year but we can help you to make it green.’
Mr James also recommended enjoying the fresh air of the 2,000 acres of open woodland and downland. There are 20 miles of trail for walk or cycle rides, a café and visitor centre.
There is also a shop with lots of gift ideas to choose from, along with tree stands and decorations to help add some sparkle to your tree.
