THIS sprightly group of walkers braved the cold weather to enjoy a day out in the countryside.
Members of Petersfield Ramblers’ Club parked their cars near The Churchillian, on Portsdown Hill, near Widley, before embarking on a six-mile stroll across fields and woodland before heading back to the pub.
The event on January 2 saw around 20 men and women over 50 take part.
Sheila Gadd, secretary for the club, which meets for walks twice a week, said: ‘It’s always great fun.
‘It’s nice getting out in the fresh air and enjoying a natter with friends.
‘Hampshire has some lovely countryside and views.’
