A RECONSTRUCTION and fresh appeal for information is to be made on Crimewatch over the Bosham murder.

Detective Superintendent Nick May will feature on the BBC programme at 9pm on Monday to discuss the brutal killing of artist Valerie Graves.

The 55-year-old was found dead with significant head and facial injuries at a house in Smugglers Lane, Bosham, on December 30.

She and other members of her family had been staying at the property house sitting while the owners were away over the Christmas period.

Det Supt May, from Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, will appear in the studio and make a fresh appeal for information.

He said: ‘We are still appealing for information and would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual in the area from the afternoon of December 29 to 10am on December 30.’

Sussex Police are offering a reward of £10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the killer.

Call police 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
