A SERVICE is to be held at St Alban’s Church, Copnor Road, Copnor on Sunday to mark the anniversary of Charles Dickens’ baptism.
The font at which he was baptised, originally in the Portsea Parish Church, is now in St Alban’s and there will be an extra short service at the font with readings from Dickens’ The Life of our Lord.
All are welcome at the service, held at 10.30am.
