Did you see group of youths damage cars?

THE police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a group of youths going on a rampage.

Officers were called to Crookhorn, Waterlooville, after a large number of vehicles were damaged by teenagers.

At about 11.15pm on Wednesday, January 16, a group of youths were reported to be running over parked cars in Apollo Drive, Downs Close and Trojan Way.

The group damaged windscreens and wing mirrors.

The cars involved included three Volkswagens, three Citroens, an Audi A3, a Vauxhall Corsa, a Mercedes and a Ford Fiesta.

On arrival, police found a group of four youths nearby.

The four youths, one aged 18 and three aged 19, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and the attempted burglary of a house in Perseus Place.

All four are from Havant and have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until March 4.

Detectives at Havant want to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police.

Call Havant CID on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
