Drink-driver, 27, was two times legal alcohol limit

DRINK-DRIVER Christopher Woodland has been banned from the roads for three years by city magistrates.

Woodland, 27, of Widley Road, Portsmouth, admitted drink-driving in Prince Albert Road, Southsea.

A test revealed his breath contained 83 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

He also admitted failing to stop at an accident scene in the same street or give his details when asked.

Woodland must attend eight alcohol intervention sessions and was put under supervision. He must do 50 hours of unpaid work.
