One on one with Musical pin-up Zac Efron
When Jennifer Moss saw her Hollywood hero Zac Efron filming on a beach in Canada, she could not believe her eyes.
The eight-year-old High School Musical fan, who was on holiday with her grandparents, joined crowds of people watching the star in action.
But then she got the surprise of her life when she was invited to meet the man himself.
Her nan Jean and grandad John had made friends with the location assistant on set who organised for the youngster to be chauffeur-driven to the actor's trailer for a one-to-one meeting.
'It was brilliant,' said Jennifer, of Carisbrooke Road, Gosport.
'I'm a big High School Musical fan and was really surprised to see him filming on the beach near to where we were staying.
'I couldn't believe it when they said I could meet him. He was really nice and asked me where I was from and if I liked singing. He said "it's nice to meet you".
'I won't ever forget it. My friends are very jealous. They wish they'd come on holiday with me.'
Jennifer was the only fan out of all the crowds turning out to watch Efron, to actually be given the chance to meet him.
As well as having a chat with the star, she had pictures taken with him, and was given a signed photograph and even part of the script for the movie he was filming – The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud.
'She was so excited, and a bit star-struck,' said nan Jean. 'She is such a big fan and has seen all his films. When she saw him filming she was over the moon.
'They were filming on a wharf area and it just so happened we had to walk back past it most nights. We got talking to the location assistant and had regular chats with him. One night we were talking to him for some time and had said that Jennifer was a huge fan.
'He then said to hold on a second and he spoke with Zac's PA.
'The next thing we knew they'd arranged for Jennifer to meet him.
'She will never forget that day.'
