Easter bonnet-making skills put to the test

CHILDREN are being invited to be egg-stra creative in an Easter bonnet competition.

The contest is being run by Locks Heath Shopping Village and will culminate in a parade at the centre on Saturday, April 12.

The most creative and colourful bonnets will be picked as winners by a panel of judges and the top bonnet makers will receive a hamper full of Easter goodies.

Ian Goodridge, centre manager of Locks Heath Shopping Village, said: ‘We are encouraging children to come along and take part.

‘It is a great way to get as creative as possible and showcase their artistic talents to the people of Locks Heath.

‘The whole Eggs-travaganza event will be great fun for the whole family and I can’t wait to see all of the homemade bonnets.’

Children wishing to take part in the Easter Bonnet Parade are encouraged to register their interest by e-mailing tilly.bull@pmwcom.co.uk by Sunday, March 30. Children taking part must be 12 years old or under.
