THE family of a missing toddler will take part in a film about her disappearance in the hope she will finally be found.
As previously reported in The News, Katrice Lee went missing from a supermarket in 1981 in Paderborn, Germany, where her father Richard was stationed with the British Army at the time.
Katrice’s mother Sharon, and her sister Natasha, of Gosport, are currently filming interviews in Southampton for German show The XYZ programme.
The film, which is the country’s version of BBC’s Crimewatch, will include a reconstruction of Katrice’s disappearance.
It will be shown in countries including Canada, Australia and America and is due to air on May 29.
Natasha, 38, said: ‘Our goal is to find where Katrice is, whether dead or alive.
‘Our belief is that she is alive and has led a happy life.
Katrice disappeared on her birthday as her family was buying party food at a store in Schloss Neuhaus.
