DRINKER Ashley Ward admitted assaulting a police officer.
Ward, from Forties Close, Fareham, assaulted PC Felicity Thomas in the execution of her duty in Gosport.
The 22-year-old also pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk and disorderly in Gosport High Street.
Ward was ordered to pay £50 compensation and fined £80 and told to pay £75 costs by Fareham magistrates.
