A MAN woke up to find a burglar in his flat.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was woken in his flat in Sharlands Place, Bishopsfield Road, between 10.45pm and 11.30pm on Thursday, April 18.

He disturbed a suspected burglar in the hallway of his flat.

Nothing was reported stolen, but there was damage to a door frame.

An e-fit picture of the suspect is being issued as part of a new appeal for information.

The man was described as white, in his early to mid-30s, 5ft 10in and skinny with cropped, shaved fine light coloured hair.

He was described as wearing dark blue jeans, a faded grey hooded top with no zip and white writing on the front, and he was carrying a dark worn backpack with two shoulder straps.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact the Priority Crime Team at Fareham Police Station by phoning 101.
