Fire service on hand

RESIDENTS without a phone line are being reminded they can visit their local fire station if there are any problems.

As previously reported, hundreds of people in Southsea have been left without phone lines for a week.

Vandals damaged important cables which serve the eastern side of Southsea last Thursday.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is letting people know they can visit both full-time stations in Southsea and Cosham.

Both are open 24-hours a day, if help is needed.
