Ghost hunt for charity
Ghost hunters and a celebrity psychic are to spend eight hours exploring a haunted fort for charity.
Fort Widley in Portsdown Hill Road, Cosham, is famous for its paranormal activity. Visitors have reported hearing echoing voices in the tunnels and mystery sightings of shadows and mist.
On November 8 it will open its doors to 30 spook fans who will be led on the hunt by Ian Lawman, star of Living TV's Most Haunted and Famous and Frightened.
The explorers will use ghost-hunting technology to try to get close to the supernatural.
Anna Spencer, regional fund-raising manager for The Anthony Nolan Trust said: 'This is a fund-raising event with a difference, where participants will be pushed to the limits while raising life-saving funds for the charity.'
'If you have ever fancied taking part in a ghost hunt, this is the ultimate challenge for you.'
The ghost hunt entry fee is 20 per person and participants are expected to raise at least 125 in sponsorship.
To enter call Anna on (01730) 815786.
