A COUPLE have been banned from owning pets for five years.
Kenneth Lewis, 47, and Paula Savage, 45, of Wavell Road in Gosport, each admitted five counts under the animal welfare act.
The pair admitted failing to provide two cats with proper care and failing to take them to the vets for treatment of obvious ailments, including a lesion and ear trouble. Each was ordered to pay the RSPCA £250 costs at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.
