A YOUNGSTER will have her design on an MP’s Christmas card.

Lili Kurzfeld, a Year 5 pupil at Haselworth Primary in Gosport, won Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage’s competition.

More than 100 entries were sent in from pupils at primary schools across the area and it was Lili’s design which came out on top.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘It was lovely to meet the winner of my competition and I was delighted that so many children brought their families along to the event to see their designs on display.

‘Gosport’s school pupils certainly do not lack artistic talent and I’m sure there are great things in store for many of our budding young artists.’

All entries are on display at Gosport Discovery Centre until Monday.
